An illustrated grid collage celebrating native Australian wildlife featuring the koala, kangaroo, dingo, and kookaburra. The project also includes a supporting informational section highlighting each animal’s significance within Australia's natural environment and cultural identity.
Design Process
This project uses a stylized illustration approach using geometric forms to depict native Australian wildlife. The animals were simplified down to their essential characteristics to showcase their core essence while still maintaining a consistent visual style across the entire composition for a unified look as a whole. Within the collage, the grid components provide a structured framework for organizing the different animals inside their surrounding environment, while selective elements extend beyond the boundaries of the grid to introduce a sense of movement and playfulness.
